4th India International Conclave 2025

Global Space Crossroads: National Momentum Propels India's Space Leadership at IISC 2025

IISC 2025: India Launched onto the Global Space Stage! Building on the remarkable achievements of previous editions and the powerful national momentum, the Indian Space Association (ISpA), in collaboration with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and IN-SPACe, was proud to host the India International Space Conclave (IISC 2025). This premier flagship event was held from 18th-19th November 2025, at The Lalit, New Delhi.  IISC 2025 was engineered as the definitive global crossroads where policy met potential. It brought together over 1,000 global dignitaries, senior government officials, industry leaders, and pioneers of the New Space sector to collectively chart the course for India's collaborative and decisive role in the global space economy. The Conclave focused on exploring emerging opportunities, forging pivotal partnerships, and setting new milestones to propel India to the forefront of the international space arena.

Day 1- November 18th, 2025

The India International Space Conclave (IISC 2025), the premier flagship event of ISpA co-hosted with ISRO and IN-SPACe, delivered an electrifying start, firmly establishing India’s ambition to take a larger, more collaborative, and decisive role in shaping the global space economy.

Day 1 Highlights: Enabling the Space Ecosystem – Services & Opportunities

 

Day 1 (18th November) roared to life, exploring the emerging opportunities in the New Space economy with leaders from India, Japan, Italy, US, Australia, France and the wider global space community. A stimulating fireside chat on economic drivers and funding models set a dynamic tone, supported by industry showcases and an expert talk on achieving startup-led self-reliance.

 

Inaugural Session: Vision, Partnerships & New Milestones

 

The Inaugural Ceremony was a convergence of distinguished personalities, including:

  • Felicitation of ISRO Astronaut: Gp Capt Shubhanshu Shukla was honoured and shared a truly moving reflection that resonated deeply with the national sentiment.

  • Pivotal Indo-Japan Space Partnership: High-level discussions with the Japanese delegation led by the Honorable Dr Saku Tsuneta, Vice Chair, Committee on National Space Policy, Cabinet Office, Government of Japan confirmed that future joint missions, especially in lunar exploration, are the next significant chapter in ISRO - JAXA collaboration.

  • Strategic MoU: ISpA signed an MoU with Novaspace, a key industrial highlight aimed at strengthening the ecosystem and market intelligence exchange.

  • Viasat India Project Launch.

2. Geospatial Data Applications

Leaders from ISRO, Esri India, GalaxEye, SatSure, Vantor, and academia discussed the transformative impact of Earth Observation (EO) data on agriculture, governance, and disaster management.

Release: The ISpA–SatSure Joint Paper on AgriStack Solutions was formally launched. The session was graced by the presence of:

ISpA Industry Awards

IISC 2025 Industry Awards: Celebrating Excellence, Innovation & India’s Space Lead

1. Excellence in Space Technology Innovation: 

  • Skyroot Aerospace 

Skyroot successfully test-fired the Kalam-1200 solid rocket booster in August 2025—the largest privately developed booster in India—marking a crucial step toward its first commercial orbital launch.

 

2. Contribution to Space Exploration:

  • Agnikul Cosmos

Agnikul advanced its Agnibaan orbital launch vehicle, leveraging semi-cryogenic propulsion and 3D-printed engine systems, strengthening India’s private launch ecosystem.

 

3. Earth Observation & Geospatial Excellence: 

  • Pixxel

Pixxel was selected by IN-SPACe to build a 12-satellite indigenous commercial EO constellation and earlier launched three hyperspectral satellites in January 2025, solidifying India’s position in global EO markets.

  • GalaxEye

GalaxEye launched its GLX-SQ payload on ISRO’s POEM-4 platform, achieving successful fusion of SAR + Optical imagery in space. The mission validated India’s first multi-sensor EO architecture from a private player.

 

4. Platform for Public Impact:

  • Esri India

Esri India partnered with Dhruva Space to integrate AstraView with ArcGIS, enabling multi-sensor satellite data access for advanced GIS workflows. Its basemaps also powered the Department of Posts’ DigiPIN system for nationwide addressing and emergency response solutions.

5. Satcom Industry Award

  • Eutelsat OneWeb

Eutelsat OneWeb became the first operator authorized by IN-SPACe to provide LEO satellite capacity in India. It partnered with NELCO to deliver LEO connectivity across land, air, and sea and secured approval to establish two gateway stations in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu.

  • Ananth Technologies

Ananth Technologies received approval to build and operate India’s first privately managed SatCom network, deploying a communication satellite constellation to deliver broadband to underserved and remote regions nationwide.

 

6. Space Manufacturing & Production Excellence:

  • Larsen & Toubro (L&T)

L&T expanded its aerospace manufacturing leadership, producing structural components for satellites and launch vehicles at its Coimbatore facility, positioning itself as a major private production hub in India.

 

7. International Collaboration & Market Expansion:

  • Augsense Lab

Augsense Lab developed a Hyper-Local Atmospheric Profiling System for landslide prediction in Kerala using GNSS tomography and drone-based Radio Occultation—enhancing India’s early-warning ecosystem and supporting future global disaster-mitigation models.

 

8. Space Sustainability Champion:

  • Digantara

Digantara partnered with Astroscale Japan and Bellatrix Aerospace to build orbital-services capabilities, advancing Asia-Pacific space debris tracking, removal collaboration, and long-term orbital sustainability.

 

9. Emerging Technology of the Year:

  • Astrogate Labs

Astrogate Labs is developing compact optical/laser communication systems to significantly boost satellite data-transmission speeds beyond traditional RF systems—ushering in India’s next-gen space communication era.

 

10. Special Award for Operational Imagery Support

  • Vantor (Maxar)

Maxar completed deployment of the WorldView Legion constellation, expanded global defense intelligence partnerships, launched the Sentry™ monitoring suite, and provided extensive imagery support to the Indian Armed Forces.

  • Suhora Technologies

Suhora partnered with Satellogic and Orbital Sidekick (OSK) to bring high-resolution and hyperspectral imaging services to India, supporting mineral detection, methane leak monitoring, climate analysis, national security, and large-scale EO modernization.

 

11. Special Award for Space Manufacturing & Production Excellence:

  • Azista

Azista’s Ahmedabad facility demonstrated capability to manufacture up to 50 satellites per year, scalable to 250, with 80% subsystems built in-house and fully developed AIT, clean-room, and testing infrastructure—reflecting India’s fastest-growing satellite production ecosystem.

 

12. AI Solutions for Defence & Geospatial Intelligence:

  • Cyran AI

Cyran AI delivered innovative AI-driven defence, space, and industry solutions, conducted specialized training programs, and built critical partnerships across national security and geospatial intelligence sectors.

 

13. Academic Excellence in Space Education & Research:

  • Amity University

Amity University was recognized for its contributions to space education, research programs, and academic initiatives, fostering talent and building future-ready scientific capabilities for the Indian space ecosystem.

Day 2 Highlights: Governance in the New Space Age

Day 2 began with a presentation on estimating the space economy’s contribution to India’s GDP, followed by a VIP exhibition walkthrough.
